Jacki Szimanski, Certified Personal Trainer
Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
A Certified Personal Trainer is a formally trained fitness professional qualified to provide exercise prescription and instruction. The key to successful counseling is progressive but realistic goal setting, trainer/client feedback and shared accountability. CPTs also monitor and track their clients' progress, and areas of difficulty, through fitness assessments.
As Your Certified Personal Trainer, I am a fitness professional that can help you develop an exercise program that is designed just for you. With customized instruction, I motivate clients by setting goals, providing feedback and encouraging accountability.
Precision Nutrition Coach
Precision Nutrition Coaching is a 12-month body transformation program through which clients are guided towards important but realistic changes in their eating and lifestyle habits.
Through our Precision Nutrition training, we specialize in taking complex nutritional problems and breaking them down into strategic, daily practices and actions that are designed to work with and compliment any lifestyle. Daily habits that are formulated to deliver results for those who want to get in the best shape of their lives—for the rest of their lives.
As Your Precision Nutritionist, I can coach you through important yet sustainable changes in your eating and lifestyle habits. Working together, we will have you feel better and feel better about eating better — while teaching you how to do it on your own.
Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES)
Corrective Exercise Specialists are formally trained in the assessment, anatomy, corrective exercise and program design skills and knowledge necessary to successfully help clients plagued by muscle and joint pain. This pain is often caused by musculoskeletal imbalances.
The term “corrective exercise” broadly refers to movements designed to target a problem seen in a client’s physical movement. Often, through day-to-day work, exercising incorrectly or just plain sitting around too much, muscle groups work at diminished capacity. This can let other muscles and often the wrong muscles, take over those tasks. Since the body isn’t being used the way it was designed to be, pain or discomfort can occur — usually always a warning sign that something isn’t right. More often than not, attention to corrective exercise can reverse potential pain, and often with surprisingly little effort.
As Your Corrective Exercise Specialist, I can assess muscle imbalances that can lead to injury or pain and prescribe an exercise program that will get you on your way to safely and steadily becoming more fit.
